Weed is no longer a suspendable offense in the NFL, also NFL players can very easily get weed at literally any NFL city out there, so the logic of “oh man he won’t be able to control himself there!” Makes no sense.he’s either going to keep his nose clean or not

Well it is The Mile High City.

Would Saints fans melt if Watson went to Atlanta?

I want him but not for what he’s rumored to be going for.

And if he’s going all NBA and trying to create a “Big Three”—and one of those guys is Will Always Freaking Injured Fuller—then Atlanta can have him.

PER @AdamSchefter: The #Falcons have prepared an “elaborate” presentation for their meeting with Deshaun Watson on Wednesday to try to convince him to “come home” to Atlanta and play for the Falcons. Schefter adds that he thinks coming back to Atlanta is appealing for Watson.

Adam mentions the #Colts and the #Seahawks as a few teams that could show potential mutual interest in Matt Ryan in the situation he is likely to be traded following a hypothetical Watson trade.

Lots of rumors flying that Watson to Falcons is pretty much a done deal. The meeting may be a formality.

The allure of going home and playing for the team he cheered for as a kid has to be strong. Like I said earlier, he played his high school ball 15 mins.from the Falcons practice facility.

If it happens, this town will go nuts. Already had one hometown boy in Matt Olson coming home to play for the Braves. Now possibly another one in Deshaun?

Baker Mayfield just posted a lengthy tweet thanking Cleveland for his time there.

Gotta wonder if the Browns are the ones who may have the leg up on Watson.

Or they gambled on Deshaun, and now they may also lose out on Baker

Marcus Maye to the Saints to replace Marcus Williams.

Former #Jets franchised tagged S Marcus Maye is signing with the #Saints, per me and @MikeGarafolo. They get their big-ticket free agent in the secondary.

If this is true, holy shite that's a haul!

From everything I’ve researched my understanding is the Atlanta Falcons proposed trade to the Houston Texans for Deshaun Watson is: -Grady Jarrett DT -Ritchie Grant S -2022 1st round pick -2022 2nd round pick -2023 1st round pick -2024 1st round pick

I think falcons are trying to drive up the price for the crazy Carolina owner. He doesn’t care the price and probably has no idea of an expense cap per se. I think deshaun to Carolina makes the most sense. Idk how much upgrade over matt Ryan he is worth all those picks?

The Colts and Browns both make tons of sense. Ryan is better and cheaper than Jimmy G. Does Trubisky preclude the Steelers from taking Ryan?

It would be a lateral move at best for the Browns and would mean they have to yet again start over at QB. The Colts do make sense if you ignore the fact that they have to be looking for an option that lasts more than a year. Jimmy GQ has his own set of issues, but at least he’s not ancient or Jacoby Brissett or broken like Wentz.

Steelers already dealt with a past his prime HoF QB. Trubisky is most likely a stopgap for whatever rookie they pick up in the Draft.

If that’s the deal, the Falcons won’t be shite for years. fricking hell.

The Steelers aren't getting Matt now that they have Trubisky.

Yeah that’s pretty clear at this point. What’s the word out of Pittsburgh on who they like at QB in the draft?

It better not be Willis.

They should go OL or DL at 20

That is risking a lot for a team that is not good/great on both sides of the ball.

Yeah that’s too steep for the Falcons. They’ll have Watson, Pitts, Terrell and 50 other replacement level at best players.
