Randy Gregory

Am I missing something? Is he good?

29 yrs old with 54 missed career games due to smoking weed.

Only 16.5 sacks in 50 played games.

From a cowboys buddy of mine said he has a high pass rush win rate. Idk if true but Gregory’s talent has never been an issue it’s always been the WEEEEEEEEED (in voice of Stephen a Smith)

Gage is probably perfect for what they're going to use him for.

Randy Gregory could be a great DE. He is a head case though and addicted to weed. Ya, He is probably one of the few people in the world addicted to weed.

ETA: Just saw he is going to denver, ya, thatll work out.

Weed is no longer a suspendable offense in the NFL, also NFL players can very easily get weed at literally any NFL city out there, so the logic of “oh man he won’t be able to control himself there!” Makes no sense.he’s either going to keep his nose clean or not

Denver is miles apart when it comes to legal weed vs other cities. You cant ignore that fact. Sure he can get it anywhere and that's fine. But this is Randy Gregory we are talking about. He wont stay clean.

Not really. He had a career year playing opposite Parsons and it wasn’t even that great of a season.

For comparison, he and JC Jackson both got 5 year deals. Jackson’s AAV is $16.5 million. Gregory’s is $14 million (or more). JC Jackson was an All-Pro last season. Gregory was an above average rotational guy.

This only their second move of this off-season that I have made a comment on and it’s an off-season discussion thread.

Would you like to talk about the weather or Magna Carta in here instead?

Maybe not, but him being in Denver won’t have any real influence on that happening.

Promise you he could have a sack of weed at his doorstep within 30 minutes in Dallas if he wanted to. If anything the dispensaries will give him more hoops to jump through to get it.

Also again the NFL doesn’t suspend for weed anymore so your overall concern isn’t really important anymore

GB offered Davante Adams $23mil/yr and he declined. Per Riddick, he wants $30mil.

quote:

Jordan Schultz
@Schultz_Report
Sources: #Packers offered Davante Adams over $23M per year - highest ever for a WR - but declined it. The NFLPA’s “new money average” says the highest ever is DeAndre Hopkins at over $27M. However, that was 2 extra years added to a 3-year deal and has skewed market significantly.

That’s what happens when your QB asks for and received a deal that went way above the top of his market I guess

Shaq Mason traded to the Bucs. Man I hate to lose Mason, still no word on compensation

Only getting a 5th round pick so this is basically a salary dump. Unless this is to clear up space for Allen Robinson…Yuck.

Honestly, the weed doesnt matter. He is an addict, and weed only led to him using other drugs. So sending him to a place where drugs are more socially acceptable is a horrible idea.

Hopefully, he proves me wrong. As a semi-Nebraska fan Ive always rooted for him, but he has been a massive frick-up.
