This is an interesting angle.

They're going to claim that this is revenge for Soleimani, but this makes little sense as Donald Trump was behind that attack, not Joe Biden. Joe Biden has a history of bending over backwards for Iran.

In B4 the gang of Protectors of the Official Narrative rush in to make this personal and turn the thread into a shite show.

God damn dude. Not everything is a grand conspiracy. It really is likely just as simple as Iran knows how incredibly weak this administration is. They know they can be intimidated into a more favorable deal.

Wouldnt be surprised. The world sees a lot of weakness in the USA. There are things happening right now that many dont see. But if you study history you can guess and see. This is the single most scary event i have ever seen in US History since WW2. It will fly over 95% of peoples head, but its the thing that people will study about in 50 years.

Curious what your thoughts are on a nuclear deal with Iran?

I have no idea who you are, but you give off the same vibes as Tarzana, HailHailToMichigan, and SeldomSeen...

I'd bet there's a fictitious shrimp boat captain with a great chain of restaurants that would shame you in the IQ department.

Why would they claim that? Iran already launched missiles into Iraq in retaliation for Soleimani's death over two years ago. Either way...if this is a false flag operation, I'm happy because the Iran nuclear deal is farcical to begin with. Allowing a regime whose stated goal is to wipe an entire nation off the face of the earth nuclear energy is not good policy IMHO. If we give Iran the ability to create nuclear weapons, the inevitable result is a war between Iran and Israel that will further destabilize the region and plunge the Middle East into a major conflict. The result will be the deaths of tens of thousands of innocents on both sides.

Biden and his foreign policy advisors are about as incompetent as they come. Trump was actually making headway in the Middle East establishing a bloc against Iran that could have ended tensions via diplomatic pressure. If it comes to war, the region will be evenly split between Israel and Iran as far as where loyalties lie. It'll be a shite show and will have major ramifications here at home as oil will rise even higher.

Iran really is that bat guano crazy. They don't want to be seen doing any deal with the Great Satan, so much so that even when it greatly benefits them, they'll still try to sabotage it.

Joe-bama simply want a massive accomplishment to wave around , even if its a utterly horrible one. Like the Green New Deal, O-Care, BBB, it doesn't matter.

Interesting theory, but it begs the question...how'd Israel get that many rockets into Iranian space, fire them off, and exit cleanly while making all LOOK like Iran did it?

Iran's Revolutionary Guard is taking credit, so there is that. Sometimes assholes do a-hole things.

From what I could sniff out last night, it seems that Russia agents inside or connected to more reactionary elements within the Iranian military encouraged them to carry out the attack without it coming down through the chain of command.

Of course, this would be a convenient narrative to avoid war with Iran. Which fyi, the last thing the US would want is a war with Iran. The Persian people are much like Ukrainians when it comes to defending their homeland. The invasion strategy for Iran is bottlenecked by geography. They actually have a pretty well trained military with decent equipment and their social cohesiveness cannot be exploited through other means to weaken their will to fight. It would be a god damn bloody slog.

The patriotic side of me believes we could win a war with Iran at an impressive cost. The realistic side of me believes that a war with Iran would be the killing blow to US hegemony over the world.

The only way to avoid that fate is to nuke the place so hard that we essentially do a genocide in the process…which will just alienate us from the global community and increase the likelihood that someone tries to preemptive strike our arse because we seem like mad men.
