I had zero issue with the letter until this part:
That literally makes zero sense. So you don’t agree with the allegations, yet your terminate him AND an assistant?
quote:
Notably, our decision to terminate Coach Wade and Coach Armstrong is not an acknowledgement of agreement with any of the allegations. The University will determine its positions on the allegations after an exhaustive and objective examination of the relevant facts and applicable NCAA regulations.

Just a reality check of the times. Nothing hurtful intended here but no black got the football job, or the baseball job but you can book it the best candidate will be a black man. Just the way it is moving forward!! Some that hates LSU would castrate themselves if it is to go to a white. Sorry but Good night!!

We know that the LSU community will rally around our program and our student-athletes, none of whom are alleged to have been involved in any misconduct.
No we won’t. Kevin Nickelberry? What a fricking joke they players probably don’t even wanna play anymore

These people aren't going to acknowledge anything. There are some insiders saying it was in connection with the football program, and somewhat of a concession. I wasn't wanting Wade fired. I'm obviously not upset. I was not a fan of his style of play.

Damn, the whole athletic Departments and men's sports are all falling apart. Even baseball and football aren't what they were. I guess we will be relevant in basketball in about five years. WHAT THE frick WOODWARD ???????

How stupid are you? Seriously? How do you not understand that it was a legal statement...they don't acknowledge anything. If you can't read through that, then wow.

Not sure why I'm getting down voted.

How about a response like this instead.
"We have reviewed the allegations by the NCAA and have determined that these are only allegations because it is LSU. For other schools such as Kentucky, Kansas, Duke and UNC, and others, it is acceptable behavior by the NCAA which is no longer recognized as a legitimate governing body for college athletics. Therefore since the NCAA has been determined to be a faux organization and the alleged allegations are now considered legal anyway, we will be ignoring the NCAA as it does not exist in the eyes of athletic programs nationwide or national fan basis of college athletics".

LOL. Catastrophe Syndrome much?
LSU hired a very good Football Coach
LSU hired a very good Baseball Coach
LSU hired a HOF Women's Basketball Coach
LSU will get a very good Men's basketball coach assuming we don't take a huge penalty for Wade's events (I agree all do it...but he got caught obviously).

Woodward at his best. Cucks. Then how can he be fired with cause?
Wade's contract specifically stated he could be fired for cause if this happened.
This is why they can also say it's not an admission the allegations are true.
I think it's bullshite and frick the NCAA, but LSU can do/say this and be consistent.

Care to share whatever information you have that backs up this claim?
