Anyone watch yet? Very unimpressed, kids were bored, kind of a dud.

It was bad. My kids went outside instead of finishing

I can tolerate some wokeness if the movie is good, but it was just dull and humorless. Was being heavily promoted all over Disney World last week. What a dud.

That's a damned shame.

I guess Pixar has finally run through the projects in the pipeline from when Disney bought it.

I remember the 70s

I mean it wasn’t just woke. It wasn’t just bad. It was over sexualized and borderline inappropriate. I am glad I didn’t watch this with my 10 year old daughter because I would have been more uncomfortable than I already was.

I really don’t know what to say, other than this will be the only Pixar movie I only watch one time.

You watched Cars 2 more than once?

Yeah, watched part of it with my 7 year old. Not really appropriate for her.

Did t Pixar employees come out and say they were censored and had wanted to make it even more over the top? Lol what a world

No, not sit down and watched it more than once. But I have definitely put it on as background noise for the kids when it is on Disney or FreeForm. I wouldn’t even do that with Turning Red.

To be fair, the movie is clearly a metaphor towards puberty. It’s Woke Teen Wolf. But I don’t like a movie with someone of Chinese descent calling “Turning Red”. Yeah. It’s Woke and a problem.

Both my kids watched it tonight and said it wasn't good.

RIP Pixar

They had a good run

God, this movie is five years old… and even before then they only had two great films of the decade with Inside Out and Toy Story 3: Coco Trailer

There is Cartoon Saloon that is taking up the slack fortunately, and Apple is sponsoring them now to do a movie a year. Hopefully they keep up the superior quality as early Pixar had: Trailer for the Irish Folklore Trilogy

Same. She was looking forward to it. Turned it off when they started talking about periods. Read some more parents reviews and apparently it’s just bad all around - not that funny or good and bad message.

The lead up to the movie didn't have my hopes up.

It's really not great.

I can't wait for a certain segment of the population to jump over the message it sends that women are uncontrollable, emotional animals

Also, how exactly did she earn money using her panda? Did she invent only fans in 2002?
