BOT 4: The trainer is out and Landon Sims is forced to leave the game early after strikeout number 10 on the night.

Final line: 3.2 IP, 10 K, 0 BB, 11 Batters Faced

RHP Brandon Smith on in relief with two outs and nobody on.

Dawgs lead, 6-0, over Tulane.

Theyre 5-4 already going into this weekend. Tough start for the defending champs*

I saw that. That’s tough man… I don’t like State but I love the sport of college baseball and you hate to see people get injured especially superstar pitchers/players.

10K out of 11 faced!? Dude must’ve sold his soul to the Devil or made a wish with a cursed monkey’s paw.

Does an injury requiring TJ feel like a stinger when it happens? Seems like a sure sign is trying to “shake it out”

He was madman and working super fast. He looked jacked up on the cocaine or the adderall.

He was dealing!

I was at the game. Dude was dealing at 95 and struck out ten of eleven with perfect game through 4 and then pop goes the arm. Damn shame.

That is the filthiest line I have ever seen.

I sincerely feel bad for the kid, and I hope he completes the full recovery.

I didn't realize he was still there, much less that he had been moved to the rotation.

Sorry to hear that for him. No matter how much I dislike that team, I hate injuries.
