I MLB Network is blacking the games out. Gotta say blackouts are one of the dumbest fricking things I’ve ever heard of especially when you are an entire state away from where the games are being broadcasted. Everything about the MLB is a joke besides the players

I don't get the obsession with the MLB Network. YouTube is available on multiple devices - smart TVs, computers, laptops, cellphones, Roku's, Firesticks, game consoles, etc, etc.
You can cast YouTube directly to your TV or Roku/Firestick and then use the device you are casting with to do other things. And you'd never know you weren't watching MLB Network on your TV.
Not sure about these games but you are exponentially more likely to see a 4K broadcast on YT than any TV service in the US. Someone walking their dog will be recorded and shown in 4K on YT. It takes something like the Super Bowl to get 4K on regular TV broadcasts

Not sure how to do this on a TV, but on a phone, VPN app will bypass the block. Just be sure the VPN is running before you open the MLB app.

And when location services uses GPS?

Bypassing MLB.tv blackouts on Android and iOS MLB At Bat app
If you want to bypass a blackout on the MLB At Bat app on either iOS or Android, we’re sorry to inform you that this is now much harder as of 2017. When we tested this before, we advised users to connect to a VPN server with an IP address outside of their blackout market. Android users could then use a fake GPS app to spoof their location to match the one set in their VPN.
This method no longer works. At Bat now requires your GPS location before viewing any game and can detect whether a mock location is being used in Android. It will block the stream accordingly, instead, showing the error message:

TV Update: Fans in Louisiana can watch this weekend's games on AT&T SportsNet, but MLB Network will not show the games in Louisiana because Louisiana is in the Astros' viewing area. Games can be streamed on LINK , Astros' Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and MLB app.
so, are they also blacked out in Texas and Oklahoma?

For all the people that post on this board that they would rather sit on their couch at home and watch a game, there you go.

I guess I'll be getting on Kodi later after I find an add-on that has the games

There is a MLB NETWORK link on the website I posted. Just go to baseball and it's the first option on the page. It's how a watch all Louisiana sports teams when there are no other options.

Man why are you making it hard on yourself?
AT&T SportsNet has the games. You get it in the basic package on FuboTV, if you don't have it, they have a free 7 day trial, which would cover you for all the games this weekend then just cancel Monday. Problem solved no need to stress yourself out with stupid MLB TV rights.

it is kind of funny that an organization that can't get it's shite together to start it's own season is now fricking with games from another organization.

With any luck and a God in Heaven, MLB will never return. Thoughts and prayers up.

Blackouts are just an antiquated idea that is very on par with the MLB.

Download the YouTube app and go to the Astros account. They will be streaming it.

Damn, I had forgotten about Kodi. Glad to hear that’s still around
Posted on 3/4/22 at 7:33 am to Ed Osteen
Y’all are way overthinking this talking about Kodi. If you read it says it’s on YouTube. No need to go that far

Yeah totally stupid, All Astros and Ranger homes games are blacked out in Louisiana unless you have AT&T SportsNET(Astros) or Fox Sports SW(Rangers). I'm in the minority here I guess but I enjoys MLB all-day everyday over college baseball. But they really need to get their shite together.
