MLB Network would have been one of my last options to watch. YouTube is easy.

I used to be able to watch the Braves on TBS and get them on WSB750am in the evenings. But Bud Selig did away with that. I don’t see how, in any conceivable way, that was good for the game overall.

kind of funny that an organization that can't get it's shite together to start it's own season is now fricking with games from another organization.

They are providing a national audience with a free and very prestigous college baseball tournament. You ever heard of Flo Sports? They charge you to watch softball tournaments.

Don't blame an organization that is providing you with something special just because posters on this board do not know and can't figure out how to go to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Astros.com,etc and search for a video

It's kinda scary and very sad. Technology totally skipped Tiger Rant posters

No. Blackouts are stupid. I’m pro streaming but don’t make it harder than it needs to be to watch something. It’s 2022. Figure out the goddamn streaming. Had it with being blacked out of being able to watch my MLB team, which is 4 hours from my house. Blacking out for college games is even more retarded because the only people who want to watch live in Louisiana. People in NY will see college baseball on MLB Network and immediately change the channel.

You want me to buy a service to watch my team? Fine. Make it readily available and put it where I can easily get to it on my TV. It’s 2022. fricking figure it out.

MLB is dead and it killed itself.

I’ll never watch that garbage again.

No mention of blackout from Shriners

quote:

Shriners Children's College Classic to be Televised Nationwide

Dear fellow nobles,

Today the Shriners Children’s College Classic begins. The baseball tournament at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, this weekend is a signature event that offers fun and fellowship for nobles and sports fans. At the same time, it raises the profile of Shriners Children’s.

We’re pleased to let you know that the MLB Network will be televising all nine games. We hope you’ll tune in to catch some of the excitement and to support our philanthropy. (See the schedule below for game times.)

What are you going to do? They don't owe you anything

Are you serious? Have you never watched a YouTube video before? Been to Twitter? If so, how long did your rehab take? "OMG, I had to use my finger or mouse or Roku remote to watch #3 LSU vs #1 Texas. It must have taken almost 2 whole minutes. Life just isn't fair"

Every service I have seen, and there are a lot of them, are free

but MLB Network will not show the games in Louisiana because Louisiana is in the Astros' viewing area.

Kind of counterproductive for MLB to want to “increase viewership” then blackout 4 of the 6 areas interested in watching the games.

I'll never understand how blacking out a game for people 300 miles away makes any sense at all.

I agree not like we can all just pack up and go to game. They act like the ball park has seating for 200s of thousands.

Ironic since the Astros aren’t playing. Are they blacking the games out in Texas since Austin is 2 hours away?
