AOC and Bernie Blame U.S. For Ukraine Invasion. Demand That NATO Be Scrapped

Looks like we found something the Poli Board can agree on and make common cause with AOC and Bernie Sanders.
The left-wing group Democratic Socialists of America has been under fire over the weekend after calling for the dissolution of NATO's Western alliance and blaming the United States' 'imperialist expansionism' for Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine.
The DSA, which boasts high-profile members like New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, released a Saturday night statement condemning Russia's invasion and calling for Vladimir Putin to immediately recall his troops.
Immediately after demanding a ceasefire the progressive group also called for an end to 'further intervention' -- even as Kyiv's own top officials have invited Europeans and other global allies to come take up arms and fight Moscow's military.

In a game who can be the craziest, you gotta bring the thunder. This is actually a rather pedestrian effort on their part, believe it or not. They’ve got much more raw talent than that. They probably don’t even win the day with that stuff.

There have been some pretty reasoned arguments the past week that this war started at least as far back as 2014 and the U.S. pushed Russia to it. Not saying I necessarily agree with that, but it's worth considering. I actually would like to see the anti-war anti-imperialist wing of the Dems speak up right about now.
