I been talking to people the past few days about the Russia-Ukraine conflict and it seems to be a situation that has people conflicted

Some want just military weapons sent and some want all of the above. Then there’s the “whatever Biden does is wrong” camp. If Biden sends billions worth of weaponry then he’s an idiot for spending that much. This mindset also wants troops because Biden promised that we won’t.

I’m somewhat mixed but see no need for troops. I’m fine with weapons. If a punch comes our way, send troops. For now though, just weapons for me.

No. For anyone that says yes, don't wait in the US government, go over there yourself right now.

Absolutely not. That would be a massive escalation and the blame would fall entirely on us. If Russia is somehow dumb enough to move on a NATO member that's a different story.

We're having enough trouble policing our own country so to step halfway around the world to police some other country does not compute.

America owes Ukraine nothing. Let their European neighbors help.

I don’t mind sending some supplies to help them, but no military action whatsoever. Unless you want to provide strictly air cover, I’m down for that.

Nope. Posted this is another thread. The US military suffered less than 8,000 total deaths in the Gulf War, Iraq War, and War in Afghanistan combined . A war with Russia over Ukraine would be far more deadly. It’s not worth one of our troops.

Lots of “No’s” and lots of downvotes . Wierd but whatever. F y’all. (That’ll surely help get me some up votes)

I think the general American population agrees to not send troops.
I would bet even trump would not send troops but no way to really know that.

Trump would have shown strength and committed a full U.S. ground defense of Ukraine, unlike weak add Biden.

How is that weird? Would you leave your family to go fight in Ukraine? If not, then why would you want your fellow Americans to have to?
