Traveling for work. Dozed off around 10, woke up at 1. Went back to sleep but now I’m up for good I guess. And have a meeting at 7:30.

Any hotel that doesn’t let you adjust the thermostat is a nightmare.

Just pull on it then try to get you another nap.

Depends on location.

If room is by an exit, terrible sleep. If room is away from the exit, awesome sleep.

Lately, I can't sleep anywhere without waking up 4 or 5 times through the night.

I crank the frick out of the AC so it's like a blizzard then bundle up. Sleep great that way

Only when I forget my fan, I have to have a fan to sleep.

Never. Always sleep great regardless of the mattress firmness level. Every single time. I can't explain it. Get home, sleep on high dollar mattress and sleep like shite. Toss and turn, wake up three times a night, etc.

I always bring a mini diffuser to pump the room with either oils that promote sleep or something to mask the mildew smell from the carpet.

if I drive, I always bring my pillow from home and if I fly I request like 3 extra pillows.

White noise app from my phone as well. The app I use is called Better Sleep and the mix I use is a combo of white noise, waterfall and vinyl crackle.

If I also drive I bring a mini fan just to get some air circulation in the room and if I fly, I ask for a fan at the check in desk....most decent hotels have them it's a question if one is available.

I wake up in the middle of the night no matter where I sleep most nights. Sometimes to take a leak, and others simply to wake up and fixate on random work stuff for no apparent reason whatsoever. I am usually asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, but the waking up stuff is common.

Two ton slamming hotel doors!

Why, why can't we get doors to close without shaking the entire building? Why can't people not let the door slam at 1:30 in the morning?

I don't know why, but I started this about 4 years ago. All of a sudden I am more conscious of the cleanliness of hotels. Since then I rarely get a good night's sleep when we travel.

I travel for work and some things I do now

First night is always the worst adjusting to a new room

Tell them you want a quiet room away from elevators

Crank the AC but sometimes it’s very loud and that’s annoying

If all else fails I pop a Xanax
