Oh...and the activist also happens to work as a journalist:
All signs point to the shooting being a terrorist act fueled by the radical ideology that festers unchecked in the journalism industry.
quote:
Rachel Droze, reporting for local news outlet WHAS, said that the Black Lives Matter's Louisville chapter is "heading to the bank to get a cashiers check to post Quintez Brown's bail."
Brown was arrested earlier this week for the attempted assassination of local mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg. He was charged with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment.
Oh...and the activist also happens to work as a journalist:
quote:
Brown pleaded not guilty on February 15 and his attorney stated that Brown is a scholar and "a great kid." Bail was set at $100,000. He also said that Brown "is battling some serious mental and emotional issues."
All signs point to the shooting being a terrorist act fueled by the radical ideology that festers unchecked in the journalism industry.
quote:
Brown is a BLM activist and black nationalist in Louisville who has been praised by both former President Barack Obama and MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid. He was also was a writer for the local Courier Journal. The $100,000 is payable in full cash, according to WLKY, and was raised from $75,000.
It was on Monday morning that Craig Greenberg, a Democrat candidate for Louisville mayor, was in his office and Brown allegedly came in with a gun and started firing. Staff was able to get the door barricaded, but not before a bullet grazed Greenberg's sweater.

It's okay, he's the right color and party for immunity.
And I thought "journalists" were supposed to be impartial and only report the news.

"BLM Louisville organizer Chanelle Helm, who co-founded the bail fund, told the outlet that Brown would be safer out of prison — and claimed he was likely suffering from PTSD after two years of social unrest and the COVID-19 pandemic."

Why would anyone be surprised that a racist criminal enterprise supports racist criminals?

He tried to murder the only non-black mayoral candidate in Louisville.
This is the kind of person that writes articles in your local paper.

Can you imagine if a white dude tried to kill a black candidate?

Has anyone told them who is committing the "genocide against Black people"?

This is the kind of shite the IRA or the PLO would say. Granted they’d just state it more clearly.

It is for attempted murder and multiple wanton endangerment. It should’ve never been that low.
Knowing the shooter (he attended a school I worked at), he’s had some pretty serious issues the last few years and it’s a stark difference from the kid he was in high school. So the PTSD due to COVID is bullshite, he was having issue before that. He went missing for a period during last year and was found in New York sleeping on a park bench. I don’t believe he ever received appropriate mental health treatment for that. And then the people around him thought it’d be a good idea for him to try to run for a Metro Council seat.
That said, he should have been remanded to a mental health facility for assessment and treatment. And I think Greenberg (the candidate he shot at it) wasn’t wrong in suggesting he doesn’t need to be in jail here in Louisville as they’ve had multiple deaths (some suicides some overdoses) admittedly due to understaffing.
I don’t agree with the bail fund being used for his bail either. The intent of the fund was to help those who were in poverty and of non-violent offenses which I personally had no issue with. This is the opposite of that.

They still got money left over after buying all those houses for the founders?

boo hoo
I guess he could have avoided the situation by not trying to murder someone. Lock him up and throw away the key. Violent offenders should never see their freedom.
