Grab two 35# plates, one in each hand
Walk for 10min at 2mph

But is that working your cardio? I consider cardio moving at a fast pace, not 2 mph.

Looking forward to jackasses leaving 35# plates in the cardio area. At my gym the cardio area is on the 2nd level.

Wouldn't dumbbells be easier?

I've added farmers walks into my frequency method pullups and pushups. Every hour for 8 hours, after the pullups and pushups, I grab 50lb dumbbells and walk 160 feet. Which adds up to almost a quarter mile a day of farmers walks.

Farmers walk

I use this to murder my traps and have had great success in building them.

Shoulders up
Shoulders back
Carry as heavy as I can for as long as I can

Our gym’s weight room has an small indoor track around it. 23 laps make a mile. We do the farmers on that track. It’s never really crowded. Walk a lap, shrugs, walk a lap, shrugs……

I personally don’t understand why anyone does cardio, unless it’s just for heart and lung health. You can manage your body fat through your diet alone. If you build enough muscle with weights, you’ll have a way higher maintenance calorie range.

I was just looking at this! Gonna buy some kettlebells today unless dumbells can be used too.

If you want to kick up your Carry's a notch or two. Walk on a 2x4 for part of the way.

ETA. To be more clear. Walk while balancing on a 2x4 on part of the walk.
