Called about trying to get tix for LSU-Tech on the 23rd, and apparently you can't get single game tickets there because the stadium is sold out for every game per season ticket holders. Cheapest I see on secondary market is $270 per. May have to watch that one on tv.

Good for them. It's good to have another strong program in state.

ULL isn't really making waves under the new guy. Tulane is still just a shell of their former selves. LaTech has the best coach in the state outside of LSU. He seems to really like it there, he's a good dude, they're easy to pull for when they aren't playing LSU.

Sounds like they are in dire need of a stadium expansion if they are selling out entire venue via season ticket holder only and people are charging nearly $300 on the secondary market for a game (I get it's LSU so it's way inflated, but still).

The new stadium is quite nice. They’ve done a helluva job with that and the new soccer and softball complex.
Good on Tech.

Then you have all the balconies in left field, rail road in right field. You could probably squeeze 500 more in those areas. I bet in the apartments which are built up between Apts and field has plenty of room for couple thousand sitting in lawn chairs. 4 thousand total will watch this game in person and have good views

Good for them. Never had a dislike for them like I do for USL.

The stadium is perfect for a school like Tech. They will pack the big games but will have plenty of seats against most conference opponents like Florida Atlantic and Western Kentucky.

An internet search yesterday forwarded me to this ticket site when I was searching for tickets for myself and family. Four tickets brought a total price of $2000! At that price, I won't be going. Did you actually talk to LA Tech?

I just talked to the Ticket Office at LA Tech. They claim the stadium is sold out from season ticket holders, just as you said. That sounds odd, but it is what is is. The website I referenced in my prior post is a website Tech encourages their season ticket holders to use if they're selling tickets to the public. LA Tech doesn't sell any baseball single game tickets until the day before the scheduled game. He said I need to call back at 9AM Tues, 2/22 to buy single game tickets for the 2/23 LSU/Tech baseball game. The whole thing sounds unusual.

Yeah for sure. We’re trying to land a security contract with a guy that owns a neighborhood off Tech campus for coed spec houses and he was beaming talking about our game with them coming up. Said if Tech’s ever gonna make a run, this is their chance.

Awesome for Tech. I like seeing actual fan support, no matter the school involved.
