With signing of Perkins, a LB has to hit portal. Right?

Webb?
One of them will presumably get jumped on the depth.
I hope they have all developed and can rotate here, but I just don't see it.

One of the thinnest positions on the team. I doubt any of them transfer right away, those positions are up for grabs.

We just got a top 10 national player to commit to LSU.
It would seem reasonable that several players that have been in college for at least 2 years might see another roadblock to their extended playing time.

Sampah and Webb were big time recruits...
Certainly discouraging that theyve contributed little so far. Webb seems to be in between positions...and Sampah injury plagued.
Would be nice to have them 'click' this year bc the talent is there.
But I do think Bask, Jones and Perkins are the top 3 LBs this year.
So I dont think its out of question we lose one or two...

Depending on House's scheme, we may see more linebackers on the field this year. I have a feeling those LBs that Aranda hand picked are going to flourish a bit more under House.

There are like 7 on the team right now. I'm guessing they are all thinking they will get plenty of chances to play.

It’s possible one of those guys that hasn’t seen much PT like Webb would leave but with House and a new staff they may want to see what happens in the spring. I’m sure he will utilize them in different ways plus they could impress with a new set of eyes.

Does anyone know why Josh White was not able to play in any games this year? He appeared in all 10 last year.
Almost the same question for Sampah. He only appeared against McNease and Central Michigan this year.
Is Jared Small done? Or still with the team?

Webb is a tweener and was overrated.
Sampah and josh white will fight for playing time this year.
I could see them transferring after spring if they don't like where they are on the depth chart

LSU probably has the least depth in the LB room of any major college in the nation. Those guys would be morons to decide to transfer for that reason.
It's really a dumb suggestion.
