To see play out, the NFL made this bed with their stupid rules and their stupid woke bullshite that they try and ram down everybody's throat. Now it's coming back to bite them in the arse. I love it

The "End Racism" lettering in the endzones obviously needs to be made larger.

I couldn't care less about this if I tried. The NFL deserves that lawsuit.

For those that don't know:

quote:

In the suit, Flores alleges that text messages sent to him by Bill Belichick, while the Patriots head coach mistakenly believed he was messaging Brian Daboll, show that Daboll had already secured the Giants' head-coaching job, three days before Flores interviewed for the position. Flores contends that his interview with the Giants — along with an interview he had in 2019 with the Broncos — was a sham.

The rule is working as designed, as the league and Art Rooney pretty much designed it so teams had to interview at least one minority candidate before taking the guy they wanted.

Minority coaches benefitted from it up until now by being perceived as a hot commodity even if they never did get hired.

But now that Flores is butthurt, I think this stops a lot of opportunities because teams don’t want to get sued for not hiring a guy they interviewed.

The problem with this argument is that the Giants had already met with at least one other black coaching applicant, thereby already fulfilling the Rooney Rule, so there was no reason to bring him in as a sham.

Nearly as glorious as when noted SJW and MLB commissioner Rob Manfred was sued for racial discrimination by Angel Hernandez.

Funny on a number of levels because Hernandez is widely regarded as the absolute worst ump in the league by fans, players, and people who ran statistics on blown calls.

The lawsuit itself is horseshite and is nothing but a money grab by an opportunist, but hey, if it fricks with the NFL, then sue away.

I just want to watch football. Last two weekends had great football games.

I don't care for the NFL's wokism and I don't care for this blowback.

Now, if somehow this gets Goodell fired, then I'm all for it!

Schadenfreude is fun and all, but this is like a mosquito bite to the NFL. The only way they will EVER have true trouble is if a significant portion of the (black) players actually boycott based on issues like this.

I'm gonna predict that's never gonna happen.

If you think firing Goodell fixes the NFL, well goodluck.

I had no idea they had already interviewed another black guy. Flores made an emotional decision and is too proud or dumb to say he fricked up.

They can't even effectively navigate a strike or a lockout for their own benefit. I doubt they could all of a sudden get it done for someone elses.

Per CBS "News", just now, he alleges the owner, Ross, offered him a 100K for each game they lost, for better draft pick.

Rigged anyone?
