They report things coaches, staffers, and the kids themselves tell them. They cannot guarantee anything. If you view things through the lens of “this is what we’re hearing at the moment, but things can change moving forward” then you’ll start to enjoy croot’n. Otherwise, you’re always going to be disappointed.

I paid for 24/7 for a couple years. Then I realized that the people over there are every bit as clueless as we are. Especially the posters over there, they look down on TD with a comical amount of condemnation.
Listen to the Geaux24/7 podcast, you can tell just by listening to the way Shea speaks and the womanly vocal inflection he does all. the. fricking. time. that nobody tells that guy shite. The host of that podcast is just as laughable as Shea is.

Would you prefer that they have posters from here on to talk about recruiting? Or would you like the hosts to talk about recruiting from their own knowledge and get names and positions wrong? Or they could just not talk about recruiting at all on the radio?
Shea and Billy might not know shite, but they know more than anyone else does when it comes to LSU recruiting. So it's them or nobody. Unless you want to quit your job and become a recruiting reporter who does the job so much better than the current guys....

I mean, technically this is true. However I will give them credit for only stating what people close to recruits are saying. They don’t make wild accusations to sell subs. If they say that recruit A is leaning to a school it’s because that’s what they were told. Their problem, which is why you are technically correct, is that the same people they are getting the info from, have their own agenda and will also just straight up lie.

How do they measure that when someone changes a CB? Is it 50% right or just based on the last one they post? Also how much of the 79% is driven up by long time commitments vs signing day deciders? I don’t think that 79% really represents accuracy down to the wire.

Only gripe I have with them is it seems they only have sources on the LSU side never on the individual recruits they are covering.
Wiltfong kept repeating he wasn’t going to change his prediction for Matthews while they kept saying how confident LSU was while making their picks.
