Bandwagon fan: We lose four out of five with a host of injuries and three of the five were on the road… sooooooo LSU sucks and Wade needs to be fired.

True fan: LSU beat UK (who blew the breaks off of Kanas) and battled back from a 1-18 point game against AU. Brandon Murray is finding a prominent role and the team is deadly with decent guard play.

To the bandwagon fans… hush and enjoy the ride/success LSU hasn’t had 20ish years.

I am still high on this team……………..

But if you are going to use LSU’s injuries as an excuse, you at least have to acknowledge what happened in that UK game. UK is playing damn good basketball right now. We certainly caught some lucky breaks in that game.

Even fully healthy, this team is athletic and can move, but they simply cannot shoot the ball good enough to make a run. They're fun to watch and will compete but the lack of a deep ball will break them eventually. Don't be surprised when it happens. it's just cool to have a team that is relevant. I'll take it.

Outside shooting isn’t our problem, it’s converting point blank shots. We’re 5th in the SEC in 3pt shooting and are shooting 8% higher than the 2019 SEC championship team but we’re shooting well below our norms from 2 and inside the paint.

We’re smaller and playing the full court pressure to make up for our lack of strength. They can press for 50 possessions but can’t finish at rim.

No doubt….if we make half the point blank shots we missed today, we win in a big way

Could be the making of a perfect storm for us.

I disagree. Murray is a great shooter and should shoot more. He was more aggressive when Days and Pinson were out but needs to keep that mindset even when they are back. If Pinson is healthy I believe we win 3 out of 5. Imagine if Miles was out for this game. Are you kidding me? You really think TCU could beat us without Miles?! Cmon man!

It’s a mentality thing imo. We have some younger guys inside who try too much to avoid contact instead of taking it strong to the hole expecting to be hit. Even Eason who can finish over most people scoops the ball too much when he should be attacking with two hands. Fudge does this as well, when it’s a smaller guy he’s going over them but shies away from bigger defenders. Reid is always putting the ball on the floor when he’s right under the basket which is something bigs are supposed to learn not to do when they’re in elementary school. I’d have Reid practicing with a medicine ball then with a flat ball to break him of that habit.

I just find it funny that these same basketball fans that are mad at the "bandwagoners" about not knowing about injuries are largely the same people that trash LSU baseball every year not knowing the injuries to the pitching staff.

Basically, every fan is talking out of there arse.

Define success? An outlier after Brady started with a freaking 54% winning percentage and was a complete bitch and hated by the media and fans, but but but y’all are good at revisionist history.
The absolute worst part about Brady was letting Collis Temple poison the program for the BR3

People forget Brady ran off very good ball players every year.

We were playing good basketball back then. It’s The ebb and flow of the season. We need to get better on offense by a lot, however, this team can do it.

Nothing wrong with being a middle of the road SEC team….It’s going to be enough to be a decent seed in the NCAA Tourney and they have a team retry good chance to actually make it past the first weekend!

Here is your “middle of the road” from a consistency standpoint…
2016 -17 overall 10–21 conf 2–16 T–13th

WW era
2017-18 18–15 8–10 T–9th NIT Second Round
2018–19 LSU 25–5* 15–2* 1st NCAA Division I Sweet Sixteen*
2019–20 LSU 21–10 12–6 T–2nd All postseason cancelled
2020–21 LSU 19–10 11–6 3rd NCAA Division I Seco

You forgot rational fan:
LSU has had some great wins and some disappointing losses. In their best wins, they've played great. In they're disappointing losses, they've played very sloppy (especially on offense). No excuses. Other teams have injuries too...including UK (you forgot to include that in your reference).

They lost wheeler and Washington in that game when we came back to take the lead. They are pretty good, as you saw tonight. It’s going to be a tough game at rupp arena even if we are at full strength.

Just fricking win when it counts.

I swear you bitches can’t stand for someone to criticize Wade. It comes with the territory. Hell, if Wade sucked and hadn’t won as often, people wouldn’t give a shite. But it’s the fact that he has won, he does know what he’s doing along with the fact that we’ve all defended him over the “strong arse offer.”

That’s what upsets most folks. You don’t need a damed basketball IQ to watch a team play 20 games and deduce the problems that will prevent the team from making a deep run

U mean hardcore versus casual fans? Both of which always pull for same team?

You don’t even know wtf a bandwagon fan is. A bandwagoner has a new team every so many years based on Who’s winning and who’s not. Get your terms right dummy
