I would pay for a living room type setting. I can feel like I’m comfortably at home while I’m at the game.

What idiot developed a survey that can take 20+ minutes without letting you know up front.

I think it was an endurance test for a reason. I'm sure if you don't complete it it gets thrown in the trash. Then they could say..well we did send out a survey....outlined what we were gonna do asked for opinions, and really didn't get any push back. I know my one survey won't make a difference, but I stuck it out just to be able to leave my final comment of
1. Ditch Aramark
2. Stop pushing tailgaters away for paid parking
3. Stop pricing out loyal fans for corporate bullshite

Is there any space provided at the end for "Additional Comments?"

Everyone of you Season Ticket Holders that hates PIM as much as me (And the majority of authentic LSU fans in that Roman Coliseum) better state it with severe prejudice on that survey.

If you're not a STH, send an e-mail to Scott Woodward and tell him what you think.

They do pay attention to areas of fan interest when a lot of comments are received on one particular thing.......

I put in for two season tickets and they have been harassing the piss out of me. Just waiting for better seats but I can get several in south end zone. Every time they call I get better options. This is shocking to be able to get lower bowl season tickets. In the 2000’s you couldn’t even get upper deck ones.

If you can't understand the drive to maximize the price of every square inch of the stadium, then I just don't know what else to tell you.

The revenue model from 10 years ago is gone.

The option to pack the stadium and hit revenue goals by putting 100k fans and selling beer isn’t going to work and they know it.

They are trying to adapt. The problem is that they are contributing to the drop off in attendance by lessening the game day experience.

The OP doesn’t want much. He wants to an affordable (probably defined by prices not that long ago), decent food options (just not crap and service so bad you wait in line for 30 mins). And he wants to get as many fans in the stadium as possible because that improves the experience.

Unfortunately, there’s not enough fans like him. Too many have learned to stay home. And LSU can’t undo the self inflicted damage they’ve done related to tailgating and parking that drove demand for tickets.

I think you have a very significant percentage of season ticket holders that are hanging on just because they are hesitant to let them go. When these people do finally let them go, there will be no going back.

Frankly, I still don’t know that Tiger Stafium is capable of being fille for anything other than the 1 in 100 game.

Nail on the head. I understand and accept that ticket prices will always be increasing...that's fine. What I can't oblige and what's going to lead to my season tickets being cancelled for good is the degradation of the gameday experience. We've been pushed from a hot tailgating spot to what is now a ghost town..sucks..then we go into a stadium that is a shell of itself. The rowdy cajuns that LSU was known for is gone. other than 4 guys who sit behind us, everyone around us is an ever revolving door of people who got tickets through work, families of such people or just empty seats. This has all been discouraging enough but this survey hints to MORE paid parking, MORE paid/corporate tailgate spots, and expansions that would be for a small number of rich types.

I fully understand why this is the direction being taken and further know there aint shite I can do about it. But I am gonna rant, I am gonna voice every chance I get how awful this is, and make clear to the people who administered the survey and who I know read this board why the stadium is more empty with each passing year.

LSU Football will ALWAYS be best enjoyed on TV in YOUR living room.

There’s nothing they can do to Tiger Stadium to compete with the comforts of home and not having to park and be in outrageous traffic.

case in point

And, this is a 180 from what the consensus was 10 years ago, and different than what the OP is saying. He's someone who craves the experience.

Right or wrong, LSU is trying to cater to guys like SportsGuyNOLA even though these fans really don't love the stadium experience and ignoring people like the OP.

And what will inevitably happen is these guys are going to take advantage of being catered to a few times, realize it's not vastly different from watching at home, but way more expensive and with additional hassle, and they will never return. Meanwhile, the fans who set up tailgates the day before, braved blistering heat and freezing cold to be a part of death valley are being left behind for them

If it doesn't involve bringing the East Lower concourses into the 21st century (and out of the 19th), to hell with it!

If I want to watch from a living room like setting, I’ll stay home and watch the game on TV in my living room setting.

The priority should be fixing the lower concourses and better using the space for fan experience and concessions/merchandise as well as building new restrooms.

Upgrading the stadium to have a 360 sound system would be nice instead of having the NEZ’s stack blasting sound into the rest.

Might be unpopular but adding cover for the upper decks is a must. People don’t want to roast in September or get drenched in October. Adding a full cover on the East, West, and South upper decks would keep a ton of people in the stadium.

With the covers for upper decks in place, the new lighting system on them should copy what other universities are doing with the light shows. Adds more entertainment for the fans to keep them around all game.

Talked about ad nauseam but concessions need to be better. Higher quality with better prices. Need to invite Raising Cane’s or Walk-On’s to provide a premium food option.

The entire lower bowl outside of the North Endzone should be chairback individual seats with cup holders. If people are going to pay premium prices for that seating they should get better than just benches with backs. The North end zone with the band and student section is different so those would remain bleachers with the option to purchase chair backs.

Misting fans, space heaters, etc could be added as well to the concourses or perhaps under the covers in the upper decks to keep fans in their seats. I believe FSU has fans under theirs on one of their end zones.

This may sound too luxurious or against the spirit of football but fans want creature comfort. They want the atmosphere but they don’t want to be miserable in doing so. That’s the only way to get people to pay high prices and stay for games

Really dont disagree with a thing you said. Everything you listed adds comfort and value without detracting from the game experience. I dislike the light shows, but it's prob something players and younger fans like
