From Scarborough, he’s noting LSU is looking good with Mathew’s and Perkins, should know in 7-8 days on most players. Also Fla’s Napier and Raymond are trying to make a move in LA. And after starting off slow and getting his footing, Kelly is now moving at light speed with really great hires in recruiting and it appears his staff is well managed. Exciting times for LSU football.

Being that signing day is 8 days away I would think we would definitely know.

Maybe Napier should work on getting the top Florida players from going to Texas A&M, Georgia, and Alabama before worrying about Louisiana recruits.

Out of the top 10 players in Florida, UF had 1 of them.

Hopefully the Napier garbage all ends soon.

I feel like Napier’s fixation on LA makes him look like a scorned lover. He’s trying to send a message all the while not focusing on moving forward in his own state. We will see how it plays out, but seems stupid on his part.

If Saban can’t pull kids with regularity fron this state, Billy Napier sure isn’t

Napier putting all his effort swinging and missing on Louisiana players is going to bite him. The best of the SEC already picks apart Florida and now with Mario at Miami he has more competition down there.

It’s like he has an axe to grind against LSU or all he knows is Louisiana and nothing else. Either way, it will be why he gets fired before he ever gets that program off the ground. Needs to get his priorities straight.

I call bullshite on that.

I don't think he started off slow, I think he started off exactly how he wanted to.

Controlled and measured.

My God...it's amazing to finally have a coach again that can use his brains.

Napier isn't going to succeed trying to poach his old stomping grounds. He needs to focus on locking down FLA schools.

Napier is going to quickly learn the academic rigor at UF is different than UL and even LSU. With as many academic casualties we had under Orgeron’s regime, how is Billy going to coach up the majority of the LA kids he pursues if they can’t pass their classes to be qualified to play?

Florida coach who focuses more on Louisiana than Florida will fail in both states. His mentality is terrible if this is what he’s doing.

Good. He’s Tiger Bait.

Didn't this get the previous coach fired? Not recruiting more in Florida and letting top talent go to other states.

I hope for Napiers sake that this is mainly due to that is where his current relationships are and not his long term strategy.

Napier is a poor man's Saban. He's doing everything Saban did including trying to weaken an SEC rival.

Napier must know that the freshness of his Louisiana recruiting will wear down quickly, he better concentrate on Florida where he’s at. If not Mario will own the state. In 3 years or less Nobody will know Napier even was in Louisiana.

Ah does not look like lsu is the favorite for citizen but I'm feeling good about 4 others out of the 6 that were offered Schollys. Go on to Andrew Paul if staff can't get citizen. I like Paul better anyways.

Napier can recruit. When playing in ULL’s conference whatever the hell it’s called now pure talent can give you a huge boost and hide coaching faults. He will be exposed and out in 3-4 years max. Book it

Lol so many uninformed idiots on this thread. The new head coach of Lake Gibson (Florida power) with a 5 star 23 Cb recruit was a quality control analyst on Napier’s staff at ULL. BN has already developed in-roads at IMG. He’s already met with Lakeland. BN will have Florida locked down in the next year. Meanwhile, he’s about to snag at least 1 or 2 more high profile LA recruits from your clown coach dancing with 17 year olds on IG.

Must suck to have the new Mullen of the SEC
