Where is everyone staying that is going to the Shriners Classic in Houston?

At my home. Rare that I get to see the Tigers play and sleep in my own bed.

Couple of hotels within walking distance especially if you are planning to go to some of the other games as well
Sucks that they put the LSU Sunday game at 7:00 for the out of towners
Only doing Fri and Sat game for LSU

We always stay at Club Quarters, don't know if it's a LSU spot tho

We always stay at the Homewood Suites which is one block away from Minute Maid Park. (There is a Hampton Inn attached to the Homewood.) Westin and Marriott hotels are also very close by.
Game times are not as convenient this time. Friday at 3pm. Saturday and Sunday at 7pm, but we'll make all three and drive home on Monday.

Is the Hyatt Regency downtown walkable to the stadium? If so, would if be considered safe at night?

Yeah the times kind of suck.

Yes to both, but it will be a 20-30 min walk. Really nice hotel.

How's the diamond club experience? See they still have some tickets available in there for a couple of games

I've done it once for an Astros game and while a cool experience, its not worth it at $300 a ticket. You can sit a few rows above it for 1/3 and get better food in the concourse for $30.

Some friends stayed there during one of the past Shriners series (2018 or ‘20), I met them at the hotel pregame and it was completely taken over by LSU fans.

This. Stayed on the Hampton side for the 2019 Classic.
Only got to see the game against Texass but it was glorious to see Jaden Hill mow several of those peckerheads down.
Look forward to a similar result this year.
