Should have been overruled. If the ball doesn't hit the ground where is the point of the football? Obviously, we ought to be able to see the tip of the football if there is air under it. Bad call could have cost the Bengals season.

Wasn't indisputable to overturn the call on the field.

That fricker put his hands on the ball when the ball was touching the ground. Home cooking call.

How is this call not getting attention for being so WRONG?

that is clear as day using the ground to trap the ball, therefore its incomplete

but the refs have their orders who to help win, they just cant get the desired outcome 100% of the time, even when they cheat

I thought calling it an interception in real time was a bad call, let alone upholding it on review. Was it close? Yeah. Did it obviously graze the ground. Yes.

It was incomplete.

But Joe/Ja’Marr/McPherson overcame.

I have no rooting interest, but Tannehill just sucks, and Vrabel is a bonehead. If I'm the Titans DC or a defensive player. I'm royally pissed at them.
I have a feeling it's the Bills year. They were one of the betting favorites at start of year and Allen has been hot.
Bengals and SF are seriously flawed and have been the fortunate recipient of gifts.

Yes I thought once the nose of the football touched the ground it was dead, and it clearly did.

This is probably really hard for the Tide fans to understand since they usually get calls like this

Because the Bengals won anyway.

Because the Bengals won.

And officiating is so bad now that the NFL machine doesn’t talk about it unless they have to.

Ruling is very clear. Ball can touch the ground if first caught and controlled at any time before said touch. He did clearly have it in the air an instant before it touched the ground. Was very close but I think by letter of law the call was correct. Glad the shitty Titans more than returned the favor a little later. Go Bengals

I agree about the bills. But I also thought GB would roll the 49ers. Luckily I won my money back on UFC last night.

It looked virtually simultaneous to me. Ball didn’t bounce at all; kinda scraped the grass as the players hands were moving forward. I’d say the ground contact was incidental. Is that a thing?

That wasn't clear at all to me. Looked simultaneous and should have been called incomplete.
