Any guesses on who will don the legendary numbers next year for the tigers?

A relatively short lived “tradition” that needs to go away.

I am ready to end that 7 and 18 stuff. It has run its course and seems forced now.

I wouldn't be mad at Brennan wearing 18 although I don't see him giving up 15. Could care less who wears 7 unless Fournette, Peterson or Honey Badger are coming back

Since you're new to this board, I'll fill you in on a little secret.

If you want to avoid pissing off the Rant, don't bring up the numbers thing.

Scratch those numbers!!! Make this a team and no one special wears either one. BTW, #9 is now more special than those 2 numbers.

18 I don't mind continuing, but only if it's one player.

The whole 7 thing needs to go away.

didn't really ask whether or not y'all liked the tradition. Was just asking for genuine guesses. But whatever

Agreed. 18 kinda seems like a true LSU tradition, but it should go to the true overall team leader. I also think it should go back to being passed down by former #18s.

#7 just seems forced.

Angry responses are traditionally posted on the Fark Board along with a picture of yourself.

I like 18 a lot more than 7.

18 is voted on by teammates and is a great honor in the locker room that goes to a selfless team leader.

ETA:

All those guys are in a fraternity together and treat it that way. The group texts have been posted on here, pretty cool.
