Liberals can say anything aloud and get away with it.

Like The NBA, Golden State Warriors Co-Owner ‘Doesn’t Care’ About Uyghur Suffering

quote:

Billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya, a part-owner of the Golden State Warriors, joined his friends in the National Basketball Association this week by turning a blind eye to Communist China’s human rights violations against the Uyghurs.

“Nobody cares about what’s happening to the Uyghurs, okay?” Palihapitiya said in a recent episode of his All-In Podcast. “You bring it up because you really care and I think that’s nice that you care, the rest of us don’t care.”

OH man I was just starting to get into the All In podcast. This may derail it.

Although I admit he's my least favorite of the 4

Imagine caring about this nonsense when our country is a dystopian hellscape gay disco nightmare.

Now say the same for a drugged up felon who died in his own accord.

To be fair I also don't care about what China is doing about Uyghurs. As much as we want to hate it, China is a sovereign nation and they get to dicate the rules of their society. China hates a lot of stuff about the US but we wouldn't change our policies to satisfy Chinese citizens.

It's not our place to dictate how other countries run themselves unless they're attacking America as a result.

He's right. Just a big virtue signal to most. How many of the grieved in this thread have actually changed your spending to reflect your outrage?

Then stop letting the NBA make any political statements through your team. You can't claim to care about something that's complete nonsense (BLM movement) while totally ignoring something the NBA supports through its silence.
