Both sides have serious mental illness and 95% are somewhere between those extremes but all you see on social media and news are the extremes

Most people have more in common and agree in the issues than news would like to admit but they don’t get clicks when people agree

This breaks my fricking heart. It’s always a shame when a business openly sanctions abortions and puts “anti hate” messages on their website along with telling trump supporters to frick off with their door signs goes out of business. These are the ones we want to succeed!

Good fricking riddance

Yep. “I had no choice but to stand my ground”

And then they are out of business lol

The female owner is a nut job and was probably the one behind the idea to put the signs up and the thing on the website.

They will never acknowledge it was their ideology that caused their failure. They are perpetual victims in their eyes so it has to be someone else’s fault.

The article about them closing puts the blame on covid troubles and ultimately struggles from hurricane Ida. You hate to see it.

Village Inn lost their entire roof during Ida. One of my employees lived in the apartments above it. Whole roof caved in on them during the storm, filling the entire building with water. They have had remediation crews there for a while. Pretty sure they are in the process of rebuilding. Hopefully the food will be better when they reopen.

Couldn’t really find anything online either way. They don’t have much of a social media presence. When you click the link to their website it says it no longer exists.

Cowbell is def done for good. At least for now in that location.

They are. Food does suck but they do a killing from the locals especially during crawfish season

Not a BR spot, but looks like Adolfo's has closed as well.

Adolfo’s on Frenchman? It’s been rumored that the owner was going to be retiring soon

Could be temporary maybe?

Think it's from Ida damage. I think it's temporary just taking a while.

Adolfo's closing is the end of an era for me. Best date night spot while in my 20's. Ocean sauce on everything. Damn it!

wait what??? Please tell me this is not happening. I remember it was rumored a few years back that they had closed down, and that turned out not to be true. Don't go fricking with me here.
