that is 7 transfers

For the millionth time, no. We have 12 spots open out the 25 that can be used for high school, juco, or portal

Absolutely not.

The 7 means only if we sign a full class of 25, if not then we can use more spots on Portal, i think that's how it goes

Because you can get extra spots for UP TO 7 ROSTERED players who enter the portal. After being given credit for the 7, you are SOL.

We have 32 spots. Pretty much any school that wants to have those 7 extra spots from players leaving will be able to make it work. Those spots can be filled with all high school players, all transfers, or a mixture of the 2. There is no limit on high school or transfers. They just have to add up to 32.

I think the limit of 7 is conditional on a school signing 25 from High School. Last year, Mel Tucker took in 14 Portal guys of his 25 limit, etc.
If LSU signs less than 25 High school guys, which I think is 99.99999% probably, they can replace each guy under the 25 limit with a portal player up to a hard cap of 32. So if LSU signs a grand total of 18 High School players, they can take 14 Portal guys.
That is my take.
