Tolmie Peak and Spray Park. - Mt. Rainier Natl. Park (two out and back day hikes originating at Mowich Lake, best during wild flower season in mid to late July)

Sunrise area - Mt. Rainier Natl. Park (multiple day hike options with amazing views of Mt. Rainier, great in early September)

Snowgrass Flats, Pacific Crest Trail, Goat Ridge - Goat Rocks Wilderness Area, Gifford Pinchot Natl. Forest, WA (can be day or multi day hikes)

Pacific Coast - Olympic Natl. Park (60 miles of undeveloped ocean coast within a Natl. Park, with a few gaps, Be sure to use trail, not beach to go around headlands. Highlight areas for day hikes are Shi Shi Beach, Rialto Beach, and Point of the Arches)

If you can get a day permit, climbing Mt. St. Helens is spectacular and a lot of fun. Tons of other great hikes around the mountain as well. It's an incredible and bizarre area.

Fiery Gizzard in Tennessee was pretty nice. It was recommended here and I am glad I took the advice. Awesome trail

Mt. Washington in NH or really anything on that part of the Appalachian Trail. September might be too late, though.

My favorite ‘popular’ hike is probably Highline Trail in Glacier, or Black Lake or Chasm Lake in RMNP.

My favorite unpopular hike is my special secret.

I don’t remember specific trail names but I hiked a few diff trails around Hurricane ridge (Olympic national park) and that’s some of the most amazing scenery. I could just sit up there and look around all day.

I really enjoyed Cleatwood Cove trail in Crater lake National Park. The hike itself was pretty decent and strenuous but the payoff was the lake at the bottom. It's a gorgeous lake.
You can take a dive in to cool off from the hike. And then just sit there and stare into the vastness of the lake for reflction.

There’s so many good ones. Easy one that hasn’t been mentioned, is Delicate Arch in Arches National park. I loved it, and it’s the Arch on Utah License plates.
