Didn’t he get benched last year? At Nicholls?

He's gotta be in his 60s now, played with Buck Belue and Herschel Walker.

It did. I went to school with him and he was dead set on going to Syracuse out of high school but had dreamed of going to LSU. If LSU didn't offer him, he would have for sure gone to Syracuse and would have had a very successful career in my opinion. Good thing for him is that he is very smart and will be successful outside of football

Syracuse isn’t the Ivy League

Saw he was majoring in mathematics and computer science. I think he'll be just fine. He's the type of you kid you want to have compete in the spring. Good smart kid with a lot of experience.

I’ve always heard he was a smart academic guy. His father is as well. Good people. Shame is that if he had stayed here for seven years he would have almost certainly gotten a shot to be the starting quarterback at some point.

I don’t think his Ivy offers were legit.

They were

But he should’ve went to Tulane and started three years.

Sad man.

This is the sad part of when these kids make these stupid decisions and “taking their talent” to xxxx program.

Kid was all set and signed ready to go to Harvard. Last minute offer from LSU and he turns down Harvard.

Now he’s pissing around looking to catch on to a no-name team for year 7.

He's doing what he loves! He loves going to school and he loves playing football!
We should all be so lucky!

He should be able to get an FBS offer. Averaged almost 300 yards and 2.6 TDs per game at Nicholls St.

He lost the starting role at Nicholls.

Yeah I know we needed to take a qb that class but I was pissed when he turned down Harvard to ride the bench at lsu. I get dreams and all that but damn dude.

From an outsiders perspective, his decision making doesn't really scream "ivy league".
Take a look at the United States government. The Ivy League is all about producing out of touch people that make questionable decisions every day.

I think this young man needs to quit fricking around with football and start working on a career. No knees and no job is no way to go through life.

He got benched last season I believe, and with Narcisse coming in I think he saw the writing on the wall.

Nicholls turned the page to a guy who had eligibility left towards the end of last season. Scott didn't get the extra year until recently, and after Narcisse's commitment. If it weren't for the free Covid year that everyone got, this would have been a 6th season.
