We semi-struggled against Moo St and dropped (or rather jumped by the latest media-vogue upstart).

Will Bama's struggles at home against a weaker opponent lead to us jumping back to where we should have been anyways?

Typical Saban - first half team, playing not to lose in the second half. As well as, underperforming against a lesser team a la UAB/ULM/USF.

Whereas, Miles keeps it close early and goes for the win down the stretch, relying on his playmakers to come through.

They'll get the 'hangover after Georgia game' benefit.

I don't think so, because Bama has that national appeal that makes the media want to put them up that high. Do you honestly think they're worthy of the #2 spot? I don't think they're the 2nd best team in the country (and to be fair, I don't really think LSU is the 3rd best...) but the press wants them there in my opinion.

depends on mizzou game. they could jump both us and bama to go to #2. beating nebraska is always impressive to the media. an impressive showing on national tv will help tons. especially when u consider the influence a school like missou could have on the media with its journalism grads.

Doubt it, the media loves the SEC too much.

I would love to say yes but unfortunately we will have to beat up on tebow before we get the number two spot.

I just hope they don't jump us in the Coaches Poll (since the AP is irrelevant, anyhow) with that crappy showing and us having a bye. But, it doesn't really matter - either way we must beat them on the field anyhow.

Unless, Auburn really improves I don't see them beating Bama this year. And Bama doesn't play anyone else except LSU and AU. So, unless Saban pulls a Saban and loses to one of the UAB/ULM quality teams left on his schedule (like Ole Miss and/or Tennessee) then the West will all come down to Nov. 8 in Death Valley.

What a great line!

No, we won't jump 'Bama. The only love fest greater than the one for 'Bama is for USC and Obama.

Right now LSU, keep flying just below the radar; this will work in your favor.

Bama beat an undefeated team. I don' see them dropping, not that it matters either way.
