He helped win a natty so he's a tiger as far as I'm concerned. Same as Chase and Marshall and anyone else who didn't make it until the end.

Good player, a bit overrated because of being injury prone.

I’m not sure what to think about him. It seems like he checked out the last 2 years. Just 1 nice tackle this year

Was proud of him in 2019 and he is still a good guy but I was disappointed in the post 19 situation and how it played out. He is catching a lot of barbs due to his Dad spouting off on some interviews.

He left a lot on the table at LSU.

He has a lifetime left to represent LSU and contribute back to the program like Honey Badger. That to me, would show how much he cares about the “brand”.

LSU Tiger legend IMO. Hate that injuries slowed him down. I wonder how his perceived durability affects his NFL draft stock. his potential is sky high. I'm rooting for him.

He was a great piece of the 2019 season and thanks for that. Other than that, I’m out.

Yall shite on his name now, but when he starts to kill it in the NFL everyone will claim him again. Did the same thing with Chase and they hate being called out for it.

Stingley is an uber talented player but I never heard of any sort of leadership from him. He was awesome in 2019 and apparently in the 2018 bowl prep too.

Sucks he hasn't been healthy to have any sort of production the last two years. Would have been cool if he was a vocal, alpha dog team leader to carry the guys through all of the struggles the last two years. Devin White was that for the team in 2017 after the Troy and Miss State losses. Some guys just don't have that and you can't force it on a player just because they have elite skills.

Has he been healthy, he would have played this year. I respect him and wish he did not get injured this year. Tough for him - even harder on the rest of the team because he is very talented. I hope he has a successful NFL career.

Simmons NEVER gave a frick while at LSU

Singletary at least put in one good year.

That said, my "feelings" about him are, I really don't give a frick about him. He's about as LSU as Peyton Manning. I'm not necessarily going to hate on him but he is what he is. A near perfect representation of someone who has probably used the words I and Me way too damned often in their lives.

Did more for LSU than pretty much all the cynics in this thread ever will. Always a tiger!

He helped us win in 2019.

Yes, he will always be a Tiger.

On a side note, I couldn't imagine busting my as year in and out for a coaching staff who has no idea what they're doing.

Just thinking about it blows my mind.

Just like in 2012 when we couldn't cross the 50-yard line in the NC after a record defensive performance.

I feel the reason we've had a massive exodus over the year is that there hasn't been much buy-in overall.

Meanwhile, compared to Bama for example - It's an easier call to stay that next year when you know your chances of a playoff appearance are pretty high.

Ex: "If I stay, we're probably going to make another national championship run, so I want to experience what most athletes don't. THEN I'll go pro."

A literal win/win.

So really, when I think of any player in this kind of "controversy", I think of the coaches who created this environment.

I hope Brian Kelly can bring that back to the program.

He disappeared after 2019. At least he didn't go to gumpland.
