I thought Tort Reform was supposed to lower my car insurance rates?

I just got my renewal and it is up over a hundred dollars with no accidents or tickets. WTF???

Tort reform as a means of lowering premiums is an insurance industry lie. They’ve had it in Texas for eons and it didn’t make a dent.

All “tort reform” does is increase insurance companies profit margins. That’s been known for decades. But corporate boot lickers won’t listen

I’d guess most voters hoped “tort reform” would do some good, but deep down since it’s LA knew not a god damned thing would likely change for the betterment of taxpayers.
