Wouldn't be surprised if Cinci pulls a Utah on Bama. This Bama team is really not that good they just came to life against Georgia. Then again...it's a Saban team so maybe that was the play to come to life when it matters.

If cincy isn’t stubborn like uga they have a chance. Follow the lsu/auburn game plan. Blitz and play tight man coverage. They have 2 stud cbs and can do it. Uga just thought their Dline was good enough and made it easy for the Bama qb to read the defense.

Bama should destroy Cinci with the talent differential alone. With that said, nothing will surprise me.

This is the vibe I've been getting too.
As bad as we were offensively this season, we had a real shot beating Alabama.
I'm wondering about the lines though. Bama's DL is huge. I just wonder about how worn down Cincy's OL could get but if they give Ritter time, I could see it being a Utah kinda win for Cincy.
I'd be ok with a Cincy win.

I know there have been a ton of opt outs, but the SEC hasn’t looked particularly menacing so far this bowl season and Bama had their struggles along the way. I think they win, but I wouldn’t be so cock sure as some of the other posters in this thread. This is a down year for the conference, including Bama.

That game is going to be about defense. Cinci hasn’t faced a QB that can spin it like Young. I don’t think Bama’s defense has faced a QB as versatile as Ridder. IMO which defense is better prepared is what will win it. I think it’s an open question, maybe a better DC for Cinci. Clearly talent and depth tip in Bama’s favor. Should be a good game.

Cincy played one team with a pulse this year, and that was Notre Dame. They also had tight games with Navy and Tulsa…this is going to be an epic beat down. Bama wins by 3-4 TD or more.

Bama been tested several times this year and only lost once. It’s all about individual matchups. Some teams usually just match up better than others at certain positions. And yes the day after Cincy’s last game he will be announced as the OC.

Cincy isn’t going to be able to handle Bama’s receivers and Young will throw all over them just like he did GA. They also haven’t seen a defense like Bama’s which will create some TO’s imo.
