What difference does it make if you’re positive or not?

Some people need a negative test for work or some other reason. I don’t think that is the vast majority but that is a portion

Stat padding, like throwing the ball up by 30.

Need a negative test to eat in a restaurant in NO if you’re not vaccinated, so there’s one reason.

Also, you may be visiting friends and family or going to work.

We are required to have a negative test once per week for work if we chose not to get vaccinated.

Most vaccinated people are out this week with Covid. They’ll need a negative test to come back.

I imagine many are being told by their employers to get tested if they are sick

I don't feel well right now but I'm in agreement with you. I'm not going to go out in the rain to find out if I have covid. I don't really care if I have covid or not tbh. I have cold medicine that's all I need.

IF you have a positive test then most humans might take precautions and limit contact with other humans or those that are most susceptible to serious issues like older people.

But hey... you do you.

So OP said a Covid test. That does not mean it was done by some hospital or government related entity. Would really like to hear your in depth explanation of how an AT HOME Covid test will pad stats.

I needed it for travel a few times. And work protocols.

I took it a few times before seeing my in-laws. They in their 90’s and wife wanted me to do so. It was only after being exposed to someone that tested positive.

I mean it is pretty important for long term research to understand how this and other viruses spread and mutate.

not sure.

but the media and politicians sure are loving the data for their fear mongering. my local ABC news just spent the first 10 solid minutes of their broadcast covering OMICRON.

Wouldn’t that same consideration apply if you felt sick? What difference will the test make?

How else would someone know to come to the OT and post their own covid AMA?

Then we would just have a bunch of people with the sniffles assuming they had covid posting AMAs and vax virtue signaling.
