Sorry if this is a political thread but seeing as it’s a foreign country I figured the OT was appropriate.

I just got myself a new pocket knife and was sort of curious if what I owned was legal in other peer countries. I always heard about englands knife laws but finally read about them a bit.

Half the shite they banned my friends and I bought here in America as 12 year old wannabe badasses. No butterfly knives, no folding knives, etc…. Totally insane that your average adult in England can’t own one of these but there are countless children in America that grow up using and owning these things. Just shows you how ridiculous it is to baby people like that.

Very subtle "I just got my Christmas Bonus from Walmart" brag.

The UK's nanny state is a whole other level of authoritarian than what we have here.

I think my dad bought me my first Buck pocket knife in Colorado at 7-8 years old. Yeah I sliced my finger with it pretty badly but I didn't tell anybody so they wouldn't take it and I only did it once

The reason is that England has a severe crisis of people being stabbed. Hence the strict laws.

What’s the point of having a butterfly knife outside of trying to show everyone you have a butterfly knife

They’re really good at giving your adversary time to pull a gun out and shoot you.

shite, I still manage to cut a finger once a month or so. I use a knife of some sorts just about every day, though.

I've cut myself more than once for sure but not just playing with my new pocket knife.

I got my son a buck knife on his 10th birthday. Good time to start learning.

I thought in Europe you could have a folding knife, but it's closing mechanism required 2 hands. No knives that you can open and close w one hand, like an automatic or butterfly or locks like the Axis lock in the Benchmades. And similar.

Benchmade would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas after they finish destroying guns.

The gangs in London are dumb.

Their territory is based on “chicken shops” which are fried chicken places run by Indians and they run around stabbing each other in the arse because they’re trying to hit the femoral artery in the hamstring so you bleed out before paramedics can get there.
