Definitely saying a prayer for you, bud.
If it helps comfort you at all, I have a serious heart issue and hope/pray that I One day am a candidate for a transplant. I know it’s serious and risky, but I’d just feel better with a new heart. Your dad is getting a new lease on life. Be happy for him and supportive during his recovery.

I had two open heart surgeries seven days apart just over 5 years ago. I won’t lie, it sucks. Just do exactly what your doctors & nurses tell you to do. And during recovery, pace yourself. Don’t try to overdo it or you will end up making your recovery take that much longer. Best of luck to you.
