According to a poster on here there was a handler in California pushing Ricks to go to Alabama.

People not even in the south contacting our players behind the scenes and convincing them to go to our rivals. It seems like these other schools have vast networks of third parties to work on their behalf in situations like this.

It feels like LSU is behind in more ways than one.

Let’s hope that a new coach changes that. In today’s CFB, you have to work recruiting, NIL, and the transfer portal all at the same time. It’s an absolute shame what the sport is becoming. If you’re going to allow NIL, you have to kill the non-graduate transfer portal. It’s destroying any semblance of competitive balance and making the game much less enjoyable.

Meddling is obvious and Bama is allowing the transfer, there has to be regulations, Saban is just picking who he wants in his corrupt program….surely coaches will have to unite and confront this greedy bastard

His NIL Agent and its is 100% legal to do that under the new rules the NCAA rolled out.

Do people not realize that Nick Saban’s program is one of, if not the most corrupt in college football? It shouldn’t surprise anyone what happens. Alabama is given the benefit of the doubt 100% of the time regardless of the situation. No way in hell will they ever be under investigation for anything as long as Saban is alive, much less coaching. The NCAA and media will never ever tarnish the pedestal they put him on!

The chance to play for the NC in 2011-2012 is a clear indication of this.

It’s not corrupt, there is just a vast network in place combing through every possible avenue to take advantage of a system. The Alabama system is in lockstep to do what’s best for Alabama. LSU better learn how to play dirty to keep up.

LSU can be cute and try and do the right things and use NILSU, but they’re gonna have to start getting some alums to pony up some money without getting the recognition most want to get things going.

There is absolutely no way in hell you can make me believe this. The reason they are so-called “so far ahead” of the game is because they have been playing it a lot longer than most. Hell it wouldn’t surprise me if the NCAA didn’t consult with Saban for NIL program.

LSU didn’t keep him happy with NIL money. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson.

Actually no it is not. Level 1 violation for tampering with another roster and pay for play violation if NIL is directly tied to playing at particular school.

Schools can only provide legal guidance for NIL. Deals can not be tied to playing at a particular school.
