But if Ryan Day were to take an NFL job, that would give Ohio State a vacancy...That would mean this "coaching carousel" would have consisted of:

Florida
LSU
Miami
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Oregon
And USC.

It's been talked about before, but that's
unreal...That is NEVER happening again.

*EDIT* Fixed so that the teams are in alphabetical order.

Even without Ohio State, that’s an impressive list

Ryan Day has it made at OSU. That would be a stupid move.

In addition to the side stories…Mel Tucker, Lane Kiffin, Sam Pittman heck even Saban benefitted from this crazy offseason.

Never say never. Cash is King and loyalty is for boomers. We live in a very different world than we did just a few years ago. Half of those teams you name, the coach wasn't even fired. Penn State, UCLA, Michigan State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas A&M all also had to deal with rumors of their coaches searching for greener pastures.

I think it's fair to add Washington and VT to that list as well

And that’s why it’s taking so long for BK/SW to put a staff together. Some times patience pays off.

Ho Lee shite what a list. It’d be interesting to keep up with this list and see how the respective hires have worked out in 3 years time.

And pending the Ohio State hire in that scenario, LSU would have made the best hire of the bunch!!

And a lot of people thought Clemson had a good chance to be on that list.
