It’s never too early for a 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

While quarterbacks go to the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Football Team and Detroit Lions, the top of the draft enjoys the richness at edge defender and offensive tackle inside the top 10. Five cornerbacks come off the board after the first 10 selections in addition to four wideouts.

quote:

1. Detroit Lions: Edge Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan

2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux, Oregon

3. Houston Texans: OT Evan Neal, Alabama

4. New York Jets: CB Derek Stingley JR., LSU

5. New York Giants: S Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame
Safety

6. New York Giants (Via Chicago): OT Ikem Ekwonu, NC State

7. New York Jets (via Seattle): OT Charles Cross, Mississippi State

8. Carolina Panthers: Edge George Karlaftis, Purdue

9. Atlanta Falcons: CB Roger Mccreary, Auburn

10. Philadelphia Eagles (VIA MIAMI): WR Jameson Williams, Alabama

Rest of the list

Launch Fontenot into the sun if he does this with the elite DL and WR talent still on the board.

I'd want Jordan Davis, Travon Walker, or one of Garrett Wilson or Jameson Williams in this spot.

What?

He’s awesome but surely they could do better than draft mini Smitty.

No way Eagles draft a receiver 3 years in a row in the first but glad to see Jameson mocked so high, he’s a monster.

Linderbaum will go top 20 I think.

By March there will be at least 1 and probably 2 QBs we all currently regard as mediocre that all of the experts will have up here and anyone who disagrees will be summarily executed and have expert status revoked.

I'm surprised to see Jameson Williams over Garrett Wilson.

It still baffles me that Stingley is considered a top 5 pick

Flip a coin. They're both great, but I guess it depends on what you need. Williams is one of the best deep threats I've seen in college football in the last 10 years or so.

You could talk me into Jahan Dotson in that spot too.

I understand different positions have different values but there are two guys on that list that look like screaming buys: Hamilton and Linderbaum.

Linderbaum in the top 15 or 10 might be a reach but you'd give yourself a good chance at solidifying your center position for a long time.

And I'm very interested to see Thibodeaux's height. He's got long arms but looks noticeably shorter than 6'5" to me.

I still think Sam Howell could be a great pick for the right team but Mack destroyed some of his good habits putting him behind that shitty line and using him like their version of Derrick Henry instead of a QB.

He was at the very top of grading as a true freshman

He has elite physical tools

He had an absolute joke of a DC last year and got hurt and packed it in this year.

A QB is gonna come out of nowhere and be the 1st overall pick again as is tradition and that QB will then be a laughing stock in the future

Needs to lose a lot of weight, if he's going to succeed in the NFL

There's a better chance 2 QBs go top 4 than none in the top 10 like these dorks predict.

I'm sure GMs aren't looking to snag a top 5 free safety because some nerd from Ireland graded his navy game tape as an A+.

If the Eagles draft a QB at No: 11 I'm gonna lose it. Hurts isn't the answer but we should wait until next season to draft a QB.

The QB class this year is terrible. Maybe Pickett will be worth a first round pick but other then that no way

Deep threat one tricks have been abysmal as a whole in the NFL.

Williams and Smith aren't even remotely the same type of player.

I am a huge Jameson fan but that's high for him IMO. Not nearly as polished as Smith as a route-runner and his hands aren't as good either. Haven't really seen him in a position to go up in traffic or win jump balls but Smith was very good there as well.

Speed, though, NFL front offices love it.
