I’ve seen some credible smoke about Brennan coming back. Would be great

I wish him all the best with whatever decision he made. I just hope he doesn’t trip in that fog.

How isn’t he a quitter when he hit the transfer portal during regular season ? Anyone else did that as this board calls them a quitter but Myles gets a pass ?

Most of the Notre Dame fans that i spoke to have always said that Kelly likes to play the veteran QBs over the freshmen. So hopefully he expressed this to Brennan.

Myles has been here since ‘17 you absolute fool. He had a broken shoulder, and at the time it appeared he wouldn’t get his chance to start because of Max. He could not wait anymore without putting his entire future at risk. If you can’t see that, I don’t know what to tell you. He’s now sat behind Etling, Burrow, and Max waiting. He doesn’t have any more time to give. Do you really expect him to wait out his entire eligibility just because he’s an LSU guy? That’s asinine.

Nah I get it , y’all pick and choose which players y’all call quitters . Myles quit in the middle of the season yet he’s still praised on this board unlike other players on the team.

Exactly. The guy literally couldn’t wait any longer. Been at LSU since ‘17, and just couldn’t get on the field. His future got whittled down to one year of eligibility, and he was trying to make sure he got that one chance. He couldn’t wait on Max or LSU or anybody else.

Almost none of this had to do with LSU, though. Max didn't really beat him out of a job.

I'm not wishing him ill will, I just don't get this narrative. Kid's had some bad luck, but very little of it had to do with the school.

I’m not following what you mean. It’s not LSU or Brennan’s fault in my view. A lot of it was just freak misfortune.

How do we choose? What criteria are we using?

Ok. Realistically, what should Myles have done in your view to not be considered a quitter?

You seem to be suggesting his hand to transfer was somehow forced here. I just don't see that. He's got the same hurdles no matter where he is.

Actually these kids need to do what’s best for them . I am just trying to understand the pass Myles gets when other players do not
