It started with Saban and then Cooper solidified it under Miles. Raymond did a great job to keep it going, and will be missed.

That said, there are many great to good DB coaches out there and two are currently still on staff including former NFL DB coach Jones.

You also have other options with similar clout like Terry Joseph as options and with connections to LSU and Louisiana.

Disagree. His secondary hasn’t been committed to LSU football the last couple of years. Diva’s back there. Just going through the motions for that NFL draft. Bring back the warriors.

I think his recruiting is overrated the last few years. He’s missed on quite a few. Starting with Surtain.

Corey Raymond news pretty crazy. Lateral move to a program that is in completely disaster status.

However, I was randomly looking him up the other day since he’s always the guy that fans never want to lose when the staff turns over. Dudes like 50 years old. I know he’s been with the team and he’s been solid for a while. DBs played well, good recruiter. But I never realized he was this old dude.

50 years old, never even sniffed a DC opportunity. Seemed weird to me. I’d have been happy to keep him because LSU has had great DBs while he was here, but I’m also fine with Kelly bringing in some fresh blood

This is CBK first major screw up. Going to Fla is just piling on for LSU.

Raymond was effective and active in the recruiting aspect but with Miller almost definitely gonna be your recruiting coordinator and lead contact on a lot of guys its not a huge loss.
