Avatar: The Last Airbender. How you screw up that movie with incredible source material blows my mind

I'd never walk out of a movie.. that's how the evil empire wins, if it sucks I'll just take a nap in those fancy recliners

I think i've only ever walked out on two that I can remember.
Austin Powers when I was 11. Its now one of my favorite comedies ever.
Also, Phantom of the Opera. I was in high school and had zero interest in a musical. Still have never watched it.

Van Helsing was awful. I walked out.

I've never done this. If I go to a movie, there's usually a reason other than pure boredom. Actors I like, basic premise, director, etc. There have been movies that were disappointing or that it turned out were not good, but none that were so bad I was willing to get up and leave. And even ones I ultimately hated (TLJ, BvS, etc) I stuck it out so I could better express why they sucked so bad.
I've done that at home flipping channels and stopped on a movie I'd never seen and had little interest in and gave it a shot, only to say, "yup...this is why I didn't pay to see this," and turn it off.
Same, sort of. Never walked out of a movie at a theater, though I once wanted to -- "The War of the Roses", near the end, but my girlfriend and I had a friend with us who we had over for dinner and a movie and I couldn't.
There have been at least one instance where I paid for an on-demand movie on cable/TV and gave up on it early: "Superbad".
Also, can't remember if I paid for it or not "on demand" but I quit watching "Never Let Me Go" after a while. I knew the premise and was interested, but it was so damn slow and boring.

Of a theater? Nothing, though I wanted to for What About Bob. I HATE cringe comedy.
At home? Star Wars 8 and Batman - Ninja both did me in.
I like Batman and I like Anime, but I drew the line at sumo wrestler Bane showing up out of nowhere in the middle of a Batman vs Joker steam-punk mecha fight.
That seems like something I would have liked much better if I were either stoned or tripping balls on acid.

The Talented Mr Ripley
ETA: This was when I was in college. As I’ve aged, I gave it another shot and it wasn’t as terrible as I remembered.

Even Cosby told people not to see it.

Midnight Express. It was critically acclaimed, nominated for Best Picture and one some Oscars for other stuff. I was very young (16) and my boyfriend (later husband) really wanted to see this movie.
Although I didn't straight up walk out and leave, I spent about half the movie in the lobby or restroom. The violence and torture was just more than I could handle then.

There are some shockingly bad replies in this thread.
This may take the cake:

I've never walked out on a movie in the theater, though I have turned off more than a few movies that I rented/streamed because I hated them.

I have never walked out of a movie because it was bad. In fact I've only ever walked out of one movie in my life. "In the Cut" an erotic thriller starring Meg Ryan.
In had everything I wanted in a movie... Meg Ryan doing full frontal nudity. But the director shot the entire movie with a hand held shaky cam. Ten minutes in and my vertigo was so bad I had to leave before I started throwing up. It was like being seasick on dry land.
