Yeah. I completed all of that. I put the ring on her finger and all of that

After you defeat the final boss...a thing on the ground lights up that you have to interact with. Then her ending starts.

Totally missed that then. Thanks for the heads up.

Duh, I forget about that… yes there is a blue summons tag.

I am starting play through #3 to get a different ending, this time I am going to play a melee character and try to defeat the people with out magic. Just summons, swords, shield and ashes of war. I will just buffs for magic and but no offensive spells.

I did my entire first playthrough this way and realized that I ultimately relied way too much on skills/weapon art (L2) with those huge greatswords and colossal swords. It was definitely fun but was incredibly OP towards the end and then even through my 2nd and 3rd runs.

I was thinking that my mimic tear on the third play through for my original character may be too OP at this point. I was playing around with the idea and decided I was going to see if I could start a new character and use houndstep as my special ability. So basically, my special ability does not give me any offensive aspect, just a much better and more iframes type roll. So I took a confessor base build, beat up enough to get a long sword. I have worked up to get the houndstep by getting lucky with poison and the Night Calvary falling off the bridge. My final sword I will be shooting for will be the Gargoyles' Greatsword which should work with my faith build.

Someone just developed a new web app so you can compare AR and FP Efficiency for offensive spells.
Here's the Reddit post from the creator with details, including a link to the web app: Reddit Post

Just finished my second playthrough and did the Frenzied Flame ending. That bleed build was fun. I’m about to do a faith/strength run through for this next playthrough and respeced. Blasphemous blade and Golden Order Greatsword for this run through plus incantations. It’s fun so far.

Awesome, been cooperating at level one to help people. Faced a bunch of bosses. Many deaths and more kills. Bosses are actually beefed up even more in coop play. Pretty fun helping people.

Co-oping bosses would be fun. I might give that a shot. I haven’t been doing multiplayer much. I got tired of being summoned for AFK farmers.

Yes, I have stopped the PVP stuff too for that reason. I do not find it as interesting to do PVP stuff. I started cooping at different levels. I have a character at 344, 174 and building one for 140. I will also build a sub 100 character. So I can log into each of them and help people at different levels of the game. When you get summoned at 344, those bosses are big, mean and nasty.
To date I have co-op in like 40 or 50 times against the Fire Giant (6 times), Margot the King (20 times), Radahan (about 15 times). I am making my way throughout the game on all my different leveled characters to allow them to co-op. Margot has some extra juice when I go against him with my 344 versus my 174 character. Have not made it to him yet with my current character build which is at 31 starting from level 1 (capping it at 140).
The hardest part of co-op is keeping the host alive. One guy I had to run in front of Radahan's arrows because he kept dying after three shots. I wear heavy armor so I would jump in front of him and take one for the team and chug, run to the next place.

The platforming section to get the Fingerprint Stone Shield is f*cking awful.

Yeah, all of this. I have been hanging out at the boss doors helping people and that’s the hardest part. A lot of them like to summon two of us which makes the boss even harder and then the host gets smoked while we are beating the hell out of the boss. Makes for some good laughs. I’m still using my first character and respecing it for different build. I’m at 284 on a Faith/Strength build which is pretty fun. I’ve kept my Dex pretty high, but it’s definitely not as fast as the bleed build. Beating bosses senseless is pretty fun though.

I smile when I get summoned by someone carrying a staff, that person will stand back and lob magic. After beating the game with magic and then arcane build, I have settled on a pure swordsmen. Right now I have all my characters setup in the same manner. I am wearing heavy armor, one of the great swords, bloodhound step and a willingness to run in an kick arse. My goal is to basically take as much damage and dish it out to help a low level character move forward without dying. I am currently doing that with a 45 level character, some armor and sword, and its a real challenge.
Hardest part when I build a new character is figuring out how to kill that Night Calvary to get the hound step when I am like level 30. I have come up with some interesting method. I have poisoned him. I have killed his horse while on the edge and he fell off the bridge, I have sniped him from a branch and last night I tricked him into jumping off a cliff.
The Night Calavary AI's reaction when it sees my character from across the bridge.

Dude...I did it ONCE and will never again. So ridiculous.

frick that place I had to do it twice. Once for the ending, and a second time for the shield that is down there. I must’ve died 60 times.
