Elden ring is simple once you figure out your build…just sucks that 90% of what you find is useless towards it.
Some of the bosses are easier than mobs.
It’s got a lot of content and a lot of fluff.

Greatsword is an easy grab, and Giant-Crusher is slightly more difficult depending on where you are in the game. Both are in chests in the back of carriages.

If you’re doing a strength build, I would get the Greatsword from the carriage in Caelid and pour stones into leveling that up. That and the Giant Crusher are top tier strength weapons. Slap a good Ash of War on either and they will carry you through to the end.

The weeping peninsula boss was a joke. Just paced my swings and kept him staggered. The tree boss was also easy.

My great sword strength carried easily to the volcano manor. Just got there but enemies are bit stronger.
Just Gatta finish getting my endurance up for my gear and I’ll keep pumping back into STR.

I haven't even pursued side quests. Just running through blind in the first playthrough.

I'm starting a new run with deprived. Keep dying though and I'm debating trying to make it a deathless run. Haven't played it in 2 months though so I'm rusty.
