Hell, baw. Our traffic engineers and city planners have backward thinking and shortsightedness down to a science, here in Baton Rouge.

Some kids are probably going to get hit by a train before it’s all said and done. The Tigerland bars are screwed, cut off from access to LSU and stuck in the ghetto. That bridge isn’t going to be done until 2024.

My first thought as well. And that's the dude the other Tigerland business owners got together and decided, "Marc should do the news interview. He's our best representative."

Douchey looking but he's held up pretty well for a guy nearing social security age who's been in the bar business most of his adult life.

And Sylvia Weatherspoon could get it.

Great quote by Baton Rouge’s own Spicoli, “What we thought would happen did happen and that’s what happened.”

I wonder if they ever heard of construction fences?

Let’s be honest, would an orange constuction fence kept you from doing something stupid after leaving Fred’s? Yeah, me either. Instead of jumping a fence, I’d get in my car and drive across town at that age.

I was thinking more of an 8 foot chain link fence that you rent. They could move it each day to work and put it back at night.

Trashy Trashy Rouge. If the idiotic antics aren’t enough, did you happen to take a gander at all the trash as far as the eye can see?

There’s a common denominator here folks. It’s not that difficult to put the pieces together.

It may discourage a few of the timid but Jimmy and Joe from St Amant are still going to jump it just to get to the other side.

The intersection of Closing Time & Beer Goggles have gotten that guy more poontang than the law should allow.

Great quote though.

Well it’s like seat belts in a car. You put them there but you can’t force idiots to use them. You can’t fix stupid. If they climb a fence, oh well.

Does that ditch hold a lot of water when it rains? I can’t remember it ever getting very high but it’s been a long time

Police don’t have the manpower to cover that. They can barely cover the actual city.

The bar owners all said this exact thing would happen and tried to get a pedestrian bridge built prior. They were told it’s too much red tape to go through and would take too long to get approved so it was pointless.
