I have several Latino/Latina co-workers, and they fricking hate the Latinx term...yet many inexplicably vote for the party that shoves it down their throats.

“White, rich progressives.” Hmmmm where have we heard that before? The only adjective he’s missing is women. I know I’ve said it a hundred times, but when will minorities get tired of rich, white men and women and their shithead kids get tired of being told what to call themselves and how to feel? The woke brain hardly qualifies. In the very definition of language, the key aspect is "agreed upon."
I don't agree to use their pop culture semantics, much less a revamped grammar and syntax. None of it is allowed in my house, and I suspect I'm far from alone in this.
So, good luck establishing any lasting change to any ancient language most of you green-haired uglies aren't even fluent in.

It reeks of pandering to the freakshows among us. It's like the shift to calling blacks, African Americans, and eventually, ADOS (American Descendents of Slaves.) Disgusting people in Washington (and their ilk) are always trying to redefine terminology to cause rifts in the public.
