Perhaps Coach Aranda's agent informed LSU that his client was not interested in re-locating to Baton Rouge at this time.

2019 called

That defense wasn’t good enough to win a national championship on its own

Love Aranda.

Don't exactly agree about defense wins championships in today's college football, but it doesn't hurt.

If they hadn't dropped that TCU game they could easily be playoff bound right now.

Ok downvote 10. Good coach but to say always should have been is crazy. Resume not there yet.

In 2016? Sure. Aranda should have been hired instead of O. Kelly was the right choice after Lincoln this time around. Also word is that Aranda wants to stay at Baylor for a while.

Aranda has a good thing going, but I’ll take the third winningest active head coach in college football.

Aranda is a great coach but not a strong enough personality to bring the level of discipline and accountability LSU needs after the O era.

In 2021 you choose Kelly over Aranda. Aranda is still too green and Kelly is way too proven to pass him over.

But yes, I truly believe Aranda is going to be a great one

While OSU has 8 Total yards since their first drive;

Baylor has a QB thats 12 for 12 and two RBs going for or near 5 ypc.

A win today and Aranda ties Brian Kelly for career wins against top 5 opponents.

I said waaay back there, Aranda was a low key coach, and his Family loved Baylor. I think he’s not ready for Bright lights just yet. Great Coach, but BK put up with a high media job at ND and I believe SW understood that. BK is getting all that backdraft from leaving the Blueblood ND and that rat poison is coming out. Saban is hated but is a God to Alabama, I don’t give sht if everyone hates BK , I only hope he wins big and everyone hates him except LSU fans. He can handle this job, Saban was the same way.

Woodward wanted to steer clear on any CLM and CEO people. It’s understandable optically.
