So I have joked for two years I hope I caught the rona during hunting season so I could quarantine at the camp. Well I tell what I couldn’t ride a buggy to sit in a ground blind to shoot a 150 right now.
Been 11 days of aches fever and chills and the last two days my O2 levels have been 91-92 went got X-ray today and have double lung pneumonia.
I could use any prayers if anyone wants to say one and I promise dear Jesus I won’t any more cull bucks or use a crossbow again if you get me through this. Even if it’s next to my neighbor who’s hunting my property line amen

It’s a damn shame that this serious situation has been politicized so much.

hope you feel better. Now that you have the antibodies you can't even use the "i got exposed" excuse to get some time off.

Yeah I wasn’t planning on abusing it but I figured a light dose or close contact was good for a full hitch or two depending on how it fell. But this shite so t no joke I’m 45 222pounds don’t smoke of vape never have work out every day I’m at work cardio and weight. I wasn’t cocky about not getting just never missed a day of work in 21 yrs!!!! This is humbling

It's pretty weird how it works. I'm a drunk piece of shite on the weekends and generally treat my body like a garbage can. I do work out a good bit. I barely noticed covid. My little brother is super fit, doesn't drink, and had a similar experience to what you're going through. I thought it'd be the opposite.

Same here, me and my oldest boy had it at the same time. We spent a week at the hunting camp together fishing..

Sorry you’re going through this tough time.

I had Covid and just had a light cough, that was all.

I had pneumonia several years ago and ended up in the hospital. That took me over a month to get over that.

It’s pretty amazing how it hits people so differently

If you are on day 11 with those symptoms and bilateral pneumonia, you need to keep on keeping on. Stay your arse out the hospital. It's a clusterfrick right now. Plenty of fluids and vitamin c. I had it April 2020 and it kicked my arse for about 13 days.

Good luck Ole Boy. I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago and just getting over it. shite was pretty rough for the first week. I did the infusion 3 days after diagnosis and can’t really say if it helped or not.

This is a weird disease. My nephew is 23 and in good physical shape and is in the hospital with COVID right now.

The worst part I had was that damn cough…I would go into coughing fits and couldn’t quit sometimes.

I have all the confidence in the world that you're gonna come out of this just fine. However, you will be very limited in your hunting ability this season. That's where I come in.

I'll get everything loaded up for the hunt, walk you to the stand, and let you watch as I shoot that 140" you were supposed to shoot. I'll drag him and load him up, you won't have to do a thing. We don't need you overexerting yourself. I'll give you a couple pieces of the tenderloin off the grill. I expect you'll be just fine for the 2022 season.

Yeah I’m trying to O2 levels reading 92-94 right now and the PA I went to told me to go to the ER if it gets below 90. Wife just talked to one of or friends who is a respiratory therapist and works in rona ward and they trying to get me to go to the hospital.

I got the vax back in February and my suggestion is don’t get it now. Not that I had any side effects or anything but you don’t need it. Let your body heal and if you need help look into the monoclonal antibody infusion. Your body is pumping with antibodies you don’t need the vax at this point. Praying for a quick recovery!
