Diversity hits NCAA football just now

Anyone else watching Nebraska vs. Iowa? A defensive lineman put his hands on the face mask of the QB after a pass.
The ref called Targeting. The ref had a two foot long ponytail. I think it was a girl. The announcers were trying not to say 'What a dumbass.'
The targeting was overruled.
Baseball attempted this stuff years ago with women umpires at the MLB level. The girls always got the lowest grades from managers. They decided to go back to something called merit. Is that word still allowed?

Women can't play football on merit. If so, why the hell are they officiating a game they can't play?

You have to be some kind of massive bad to get the lowest grade amongst baseball umps. Like deaf, dumb, and blind bad.

It feels great not caring about sports anymore, other than hoping to see it all burn to the ground.
It'd be nice if more people felt the same, so that I could see it happen in my lifetime. I'd love to see the days of pro athletes having to work a second job in the offseason again.

You do realize the NFL has had female officials since 2015 (earlier if you count strike replacements)?
If you haven't heard of them, that means they're better than Luckett and Vinovich.

We tried that with Brittney Griner at Baylor. Didn't stop anything. (Though Griner only won a single title instead of the four expected.)

I don't watch NFL. I'm a college fan. And I remember when Colorado went diversity and signed up a female place kicker. She tried an extra point and the ball hit her own center in the butt.
They cut her.
She sued for sexual discrimination. I don't know what the settlement price was.

It's balls and strike consistency. If a ball is pitched at 90 mph and is one or two inches from the edge of the plate it requires good judgment of speed and space. Women cannot do that. That's why they can't be fighter pilots unless aff action in implemented and that turns out really bad.

I’ve been giving grief to all these ole miss fans today. I asked many why they still pay money to watch the rebels play after their support of Black Lives Matter last year. They can’t give me an answer. I believe it’s weak and is the reason why the left always wins.

How many NFL referees are capable of playing in the NFL at any point of their lives? Most of these guys are white collar professionals the rest of the year.

It’s hard to believe that there are people that truly believe that a woman can’t objectively watch a game and call fouls. Using your logic, men shouldn’t make abortion laws cause they can’t have babies, non-gun owners can’t make decisions on guns, etc, etc, etc.
If we REALLY want to get down to it, why do we have referees or umpires at a collegiate or professional level? With today’s technology, they should be replaced anyway. Add some more tech to the game and get the humans and their errors out of the game.

All of the NFL refs played football in grade school to HS if not college. Zero of the women have ever played a game in their life. You learn the rules as a kid. It has nothing to do with NFL skill.
