Jeff Landry hired Corey Lewandowski, who then sexually harrased a donor's wife

This entire story is wild and once again calls into question just what exactly Landry is doing. Didn't we learn in 2019 to stop hiring out of state campaign consultants?

Now Odom wants his money back – after learning recently that Landry hired a political consultant who was accused of sexually harassing Odom’s then-wife, Trashelle, at a charity event in Las Vegas.

“What a slap in the face,” Odom said in an interview Monday. “It’s not the person you want to be your governor, I promise you.

“How do you go and hire the guy who did that to your donor? It’s ethically wrong, morally wrong and f---ed up. I don’t know how else to put it.”

Odom said he told Landry some time ago about how the political consultant, Corey Lewandowski, had mistreated Trashelle Odom but that Landry told him to stay quiet and to avoid the media.

Meanwhile the wife is now an ex-wife and she firmly still supports Landry. And the donor apparently spent 6 years in jail for writing bad checks, and now has a tv show on Discovery called "Street Outlaws" about drag racers.

Look, all of us in the PT board are still going to vote for him in the runoff. But this is the kind of crap that causes moderates and independents to perhaps stay home on runoff day.
