I can’t help but laugh when people put their “pronouns” on LinkedIn.

I use it for job searching. That’s it.

Yeah, well, for some, like me, I might use it as a business tool about 0.005% of the time to va.lidate someone's position within an organization, but it is absolute cringe otherwise how some people post (a) just to 'toot their own horn' "look-at-me" crap, (b) personal info and (c) post/repost articles about their company.

I was asked by my former employer to do that, to create greater reach. I politely declined, and told the VP that suggested it to hire a better marketing firm because that is the responsibility of a corporate marketing department, not sales, not logistics, not administration, not finance. Marketing.

I look forward to the day I fully retire and completely go dark by removing myself from LinkedIn.
